In line with its research and development actions, ArcelorMittal Construction is joining forces with several partners involved in energy transition by participating in the 1st acceleration program for start-ups engaged in renovation in France, Renov'Up.
This program brings together several players with the same objective: to identify the most relevant, disruptive and high-potential innovative solutions, in order to encourage experimentation and the development of new approaches. At the end of a first phase of a call for solutions, the winners will be able to test their solution in real conditions and develop them with support.
The program takes place in 3 phases:
- Phase 1: Call for innovative solutions, opened at the beginning of March and which will run until May 2021. It is aimed at start-ups, SMEs and SMIs able to work on the French renovation market and create new the value in France. Applications must be submitted on the renov-up.com site. The evaluation of the candidates and the selection of the winners will take place by the start of the 2021 school year.
- Phase 2: Field testing of the winning solutions, a real key to success since, in the context of developing solutions, it is necessary to be able to test in the field in real conditions.
- Phase 3: Massification of the selected solutions.
This program is supported by the start-up incubator Impulse Partners, which develops ecosystems bringing together contractors and innovative solutions. Renov'Up aims to bring together the richness of the renovation offer. ArcelorMittal Construction, a major player in the metal building envelope, is proud to be involved in this program and expect that Renov'Up will inspire certain candidates to create sustainable renovation concepts in steel!
